The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate cut as a tall oval dome. Most of it is milky white with a cool translucent grey zone, and across the lower third a growth of brown and black dendrites spreads like scrub on a hillside, the kind of inclusion the trade calls Shajari. Seen upright, the stone has the feel of a small landscape.
The mount pairs sterling silver with gold-plated accents. The crown bezel is gold-plated with tall pointed claws over a beaded rim; each shoulder centres a vertical blue faceted baguette among teardrop granules and engraved leaf-scrolls, and rows of small round blue stones trace the edges of the head.
White stone, gilded crown and cobalt blue: a cool, formal combination.
