An oval of Yemeni agate that looks like a patch of forest floor: deep brown and amber-orange ground, clusters of dark green growth, small yellow-green spots and a single milky inclusion near the top. Rounded green clusters like these give moss agate its name.
The sterling silver stays out of the way. A smooth collar carries one darkened row of beaded dots, and the broad polished shoulders are opened by a single arrow-shaped cut-out on each side.
A busy stone, in a quiet mount.
