A large oval of milky, translucent Yemeni agate. Along one side a smoky brown shape rises like a distant shoreline in mist: the kind of natural scene the market calls Musawwar, picture agate.
The sterling silver collar is pierced with a row of crescents and edged in fine beading. Below it the shank opens into two braided bands on each side, joined by a granulated triangle and a thin rope line, the recesses darkened so the weave reads clearly.
A quiet stone with a view, held by an old weaving pattern.
