An oval of deep red Yemeni agate, dark at the edges and glowing at the centre where the light passes through.
It sits on a wide, flat sterling silver band worked all the way round in rows of small crescent scales between lines of dots. A braided rope edges the bezel, and a pair of polished leaves opens on each side of the stone.
