The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate cut as a tall oval cabochon. Its body is translucent smoke-grey turning to milky white, with a broad soft white band drifting across the dome and warm brown clouds gathering at the rim. Light passes through the pale zones and sits in the grey ones, so the dome changes character as the hand moves.
The sterling silver mount is built around one motif: the ringlet. A chain of beaded ringlets circles the serrated bezel, and each shoulder carries a cluster of seven granulated ringlets on a scalloped plate before the shank splits into two beaded rails. The recesses are oxidised so the raised silver reads cleanly.
A quiet, textural ring with no colour competing with the stone.
