A large oval of pale golden Yemeni agate, translucent, with a deeper amber streak along one edge and fine feathery inclusions rising through it like a grove of trees at the end of the day. Stones with this natural branching are known in the market as Shajari.
The polished sterling silver bezel sits inside a collar engraved with scrolls. On each shoulder a five-petal flower and its leaves are carved in a framed panel, with fine granulation where the shoulder meets the stone and a beaded edge along the band.
Evening light in stone, a garden in silver.
