Castellated Crown Red Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a natural, untreated red Yemeni agate (Ahmar), cut as a high oval cabochon. It is translucent, deep red at the rim and lighting up amber-orange through the centre, with a clean surface and no visible flaws.

The 925 sterling silver crown bezel is cut into vertical slots so it reads like a battlement around the stone. Each shoulder carries a curved channel of five small faceted red accent stones in bead settings on a darkened ground, and the rest of the mount is left smooth and polished.

A composed ring that adds a little sparkle to a classic red agate without crowding it.
