A large, high-domed oval of milky, translucent Yemeni agate, scattered with fine dark dendrites that gather and branch toward one end, as if drawn with a dry brush. The market calls stones with this natural growth Shajari.
The mount is the most ornate in the collection. A serrated gold-plated crown holds the stone, edged with small red accent stones. On each shoulder, an orange baguette sits among teardrop cut-outs, dotted work and leaf chevrons in sterling silver.
A quiet stone in a ceremonial setting.
