A large oval of Yemeni agate in the colour of plums at dusk, dark and almost black at the centre, with purple-red warmth rising at the edges. The market places stones of this depth under the name Kabdi.
A smooth sterling silver bezel holds it, ringed by rolling wave scrolls and a line of raised dots. Daisies and leaves stand in relief on each shoulder over a darkened ground, with pierced openwork beneath the band.
The quietest colour in the collection, in a gentle floral mount.
