An oval of translucent Yemeni agate in a deep wine-red that flashes violet at the edges when light passes through. The dome is smooth and even, with a faint fibrous grain beneath the surface.
The sterling silver collar steps in at top and bottom and is engraved all round with scrolls and dots. On each shoulder a black baguette stone, most likely cubic zirconia, stands guard, and beyond it the band is worked with darkened floral scrolls.
Red and black, a pairing that never tires.
