A large oval of red Yemeni agate with real light in it. Held up, the stone glows clear and even from edge to edge, the bright red the Yemeni market simply calls Ahmar.
A smooth bezel keeps the stone uncluttered. Around it runs a band of rolling wave scrolls and a line of raised dots, and down each shoulder a small garden of daisies and leaves stands in relief against a darkened ground, with pierced openwork under the band.
Bright stone, gentle flowers, and a mount that lets both breathe.
