A pear-shaped Yemeni agate of changing colour: deep red-brown with a smoky violet haze, crossed at its wider end by a milky white vein and small pockets of golden amber. It is the kind of natural composition the Yemeni market calls Musawwar.
A gold-plated crown of large textured teeth grips the stone. The sterling silver shoulders set rows of black baguettes between polished leaf studs and fine granulation, with a triangle of white enamel beside the head.
A bold ring with a stone that rewards a closer look.
