The stone is a large oval cabochon of natural, untreated honey Yemeni agate. Through its translucent yellow body a black-brown dendritic cloud spreads in soft lobes, the tree-like growth the Yemeni trade calls Shajari, with a smaller cloud and fine branching near the edge. The dome is high and the polish bright.
The stone sits in a gold-plated crown cut into open scallops and scrolls, ringed below by a row of small faceted red stones. Each shoulder is a pennant of deep red enamel bordered in dotted silver, carrying a gilded square frame with two red baguettes and a larger red baguette above it; silver scrolls float on the enamel toward the band.
One ring, one stone, made once.
