The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate in a smoky white, milky and translucent across the dome, with a dark brown colour zone settled across its lower end. The oval cabochon is flush-set in a plain bezel with no border, so the stone reads as part of the silver.
The shoulders are broad and polished, in the manner of a signet, and each is inlaid with an angular glyph of cobalt blue enamel, bars and hooks cut cleanly into the metal.
A spare, modern ring with one strong colour.
