A milky, translucent Yemeni agate of the kind the market calls Shajari, with an olive-green moss growing down one side and fine dark branches reaching across it.
The stone sits in a tall, straight-walled sterling silver bezel. Bezel and band are engraved all round with an interlocking wave and scroll, darkened in the recesses so the pattern reads clearly.
A slim, even ring that sits as well on a woman’s hand as on a man’s.
