A large oval of Yemeni agate in the warm tone the market calls Asali, honey: translucent gold with soft cream clouds and fine dark branching inclusions that look drawn by hand.
A gold-plated crown of close-set claws holds the stone. The shoulders are richly worked: a pavé of small orange-red accent stones, a square accent stone at the centre, red enamel panels and fine beaded granulation.
