The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate, so dark it reads as black until strong light picks up a deep navy cast and a brief violet flash at the edge. It is cut as a high oval cabochon with a glassy, even polish.
The 925 sterling silver bezel is wrapped by a twisted rope and a braided wheat-chain border. Each shoulder carries raised raindrop forms and rows of small dots in the manner of granulation, set against a blackened ground so every bead stands out. The shank is left plain and polished.
A dark stone, a textured frame, and nothing more than it needs.
