A large oval of translucent, straw-pale Yemeni agate. Inside it, ochre and cream growths spread like moss across a hillside, the kind of natural scene the Yemeni market calls Musawwar.
The stone sits in a gold-plated rim over a beaded gold-plated collar. The shoulders are a grid of oxidised silver, each side set with blue baguette accents and rows of small turquoise-blue cabochons, a pattern that recalls old mosaic floors.
Quiet stone, bright frame, and a piece made for a man who likes both.
