A large oval of Yemeni agate with a scene that reads like an eclipse: a smooth, deep red-brown dome rises from the lower edge into a pale grey sky scattered with dark, mossy flecks, a thin white rim tracing its outline. The Yemeni market calls stones like this Musawwar.
A gold-plated beaded rim frames the stone. On each shoulder a gold-plated flower opens over silver scrollwork and black enamel, with small black accent stones along the collar.
The loose stone seen beside the ring in some photographs is a styling prop and is not included.
