A large oval of dark garnet-red Yemeni agate, the deep tone the market calls Kabdi, glowing red at its edges.
It sits in a tall crown of pierced sterling silver filigree, the scrollwork rising to a scalloped edge around the stone like lace. On each shoulder a lion’s head with a flowing mane is carved in relief, framed by pierced floral scrolls that continue right through to the inside of the band.
The most intricate mount in the collection, with a lion on either side.
