Gilded Lattice Violet Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate whose colour depends on the light: near-black in shade, a deep blue-violet with a purple glow when light enters the tall oval dome. It is polished to a glassy finish.

The 925 sterling silver bezel carries two gold-plated rims with a line of gold-coloured granules between them, then a ring of small faceted black stones. The shoulders are built as a geometric lattice of silver beads over a blackened ground, set with more small faceted black stones and three small dark-blue rectangular stones on each side. The shank is plain and polished.
