The stone is a natural, untreated red Yemeni agate, deep in tone with a darker rim and a brighter heart when light passes through the dome. It is cut as an oval cabochon with a smooth, even polish and no pattern.
The bezel is a notched collar, a ring of short vertical cuts around the full stone with a darkened groove between them that gives the frame a quiet rhythm. Everything else is left smooth: broad polished shoulders taper into a plain rounded sterling silver shank with no engraving at all.
