At rest this Yemeni agate looks almost black. Turn it to the light and a deep, liver-red glow rises from inside, the character the market calls Kabdi.
The mount is deliberately plain: broad, polished sterling silver with parallel blackened grooves that step down each shoulder, a single dark line tracing the bezel and four small notches that hold the stone at its compass points. No flowers, no granulation, only line and proportion.
A ring for someone who prefers the stone to speak first.
