A large, high-domed oval of Yemeni agate in the warm orange-red most people picture when they think of aqeeq. The colour is even from edge to edge, and the light moves softly through it.
The heavy sterling silver mount is spare. The stone sits in a notched collar of short teeth, and around it concentric arcs are grooved into the shoulders like ripples spreading out from the stone. The rest of the band is left broad and plain.
