Scimitar Sheaf Black Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate, near-black with a deep blue sheen that moves across the tall oval dome under light. It is polished to a glassy finish.

The 925 sterling silver bezel is ribbed like a coin edge, with small tabs at the ends of the oval and a beaded line outside. Each shoulder carries a curved sword with its cross guard raised on a stippled, blackened field, and behind it a braided wheat band with a sheaf of teardrop leaves that runs down the shank.

A sword on the shoulder and a dark stone at the centre: a direct ring with no decoration it does not need.
