Starlit Sabre Kabdi Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a large oval cabochon of natural, untreated Yemeni agate in the dark liver family: near-black in the hand, it opens into a deep aubergine-to-wine red the moment light reaches its edge. The dome is high and evenly polished with a clean, unbroken surface.

The 925 sterling silver mount keeps the bezel smooth and lets the shoulders carry the design: a curved sabre and a crescent blade in bright silver rise from a bed of oxidised dotwork, framed by a beaded border, while a five-pointed star is cut through the flank of the wide, polished shank.
