A deep, near-black Yemeni agate with a white cloud drifting across its crown and a cluster of ringed eyes below it, pale grey and olive, each one formed as the stone grew in layers.
It sits high in a sterling silver bezel with a fine rope rim. On the shoulders, a bird and a running animal move through fern-like leaves in raised relief, held between borders of braided rope.
A night sky in stone, with the patience of old silverwork around it.
