The stone is a Kabdi Yemeni agate, the liver-red variety, cut as an oval cabochon with good translucency at the edge. Inside it, several dark blue-black clouds with soft edges gather near the centre, so the warm ground seems to carry a passing storm. Natural and untreated.
The bezel is bordered with twisted rope. Each shoulder carries a hand-braided wheat-chain between beaded rope wires, darkened in the recesses so the braid stands proud. Sterling silver 925.
