A rectangular tablet of translucent Yemeni agate with softened corners, deep red at the edges and lit from within at its centre, so the stone seems to glow like an ember.
The sterling silver frame is crenellated with small square blocks and a beaded line. On each shoulder a vivid blue faceted baguette sets up a bold contrast with the red, followed by scrolls and a braided band worked into a darkened ground.
