Barley Braid White Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a large milky white Yemeni agate crossed by soft diagonal bands of honey and yellow-brown, like light falling through a linen curtain. It is translucent at the edges and carries two tiny rust flecks as its only marks. Natural and untreated.

The bezel is bordered with a hand-braided wheat-chain inside a fine beaded wire. The shank is wide and carries the same braid down its centre between beaded rope wires, oxidised in the recesses so every grain stands out. Sterling silver 925.
