A large oval of Yemeni agate in a rich, saturated red, translucent enough that the light seems to sit inside it like an ember.
The sterling silver mount keeps the bezel plain, edged with a fine beaded line, and gives the shoulders to broad acanthus leaves that sweep from the head down the band, bright against a darkened ground.
