A large oval of milky, translucent Yemeni agate. A rust-brown vein runs through it, and beside it a dark, finely spotted growth branches upward. The market calls stones with these natural branches Shajari.
The sterling silver is graphic and precise. A crown of fine, evenly spaced prongs rings the stone, and on each shoulder bold chevron lines, cut and darkened, meet in a point along the band.
Soft stone, sharp silver.
