A rectangular tablet of Yemeni agate in the deep brownish red the market calls Kabdi. It is cut with a flat table and bevelled facets along the edges, and inside the colour gathers in darker clouds, the natural texture of the stone.
A notched sterling silver crown grips the stone like a garden wall. On the shoulders, flowers, leaves and a curling vine rise in darkened relief among dots, with oval floral medallions facing forward.
A squared, architectural ring for a hand that likes structure.
