A large oval of Yemeni agate of the kind the market calls Musawwar, the picture stone. In a pale, misty body drift clouds of honey, ochre and rust, crossed at the top by a creamy band, like a harvest field under a low sky.
A gold-plated crown of rounded claws holds the stone. The sterling silver shoulders are set with a diamond lattice of small faceted black stones and framed in bands of black enamel.
A landscape in stone, dressed for the evening.
