An oval of red Yemeni agate, deep and clean, with a touch of raspberry where the light slips in. The dome is full and the polish even, so the colour does all the talking.
A smooth sterling silver bezel holds it, ringed by a line of raised beads. Each shoulder is cut on the diagonal: curling acanthus scrolls on one side, a fine lattice of beaded diamonds on the other.
