A long oval of translucent Yemeni agate that reads like a hillside after rain: ochre and olive, streaked with blue-grey, with small patches of green moss near its edges and a few white wisps at the top.
A polished bezel ringed with raised beads holds it. Each shoulder carries a carved open rose among leaves, vines and small flowers, darkened to give the carving depth, while chevron cut-outs lighten the inside of the band.
