Scarlet Baguette Kabdi Agate Ring

A large oval of deep red Yemeni agate, the dark, even tone the market calls Kabdi. The stone is smooth and quiet, with a low glow that rises from within when light passes through its edge.

The sterling silver collar is notched at four points and engraved around its wall with blackened scrolls between rows of fine dots. At each shoulder a red baguette accent sits like a small bar of colour, followed by carved floral work picked out in black, with two tiny red accents.

A classic dark red stone with a little ceremony at the sides.
