Serrated Collar Red Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a natural, untreated Yemeni agate in orange-red, marbled inside with deeper red zones, amber patches and faint pale wisps that move as the ring turns. It is cut as a large high oval cabochon and is translucent enough to glow in light.

The 925 sterling silver mount has a collar cut into fine vertical ribs, giving the bezel a serrated edge, with a twisted wire laid around the outside. The shoulders split into two braided arms on each side before meeting a wide flat shank cut with stepped chevrons.
