The stone is a cushion of natural, untreated white Yemeni agate, cut with a flat table and bevelled facets rather than the usual dome. Inside the translucent white ground a single warm brown patch spreads with a ragged edge, the kind of natural mark the Yemeni trade calls a picture stone.
The setting is a flush signet bezel with a clean polished face. Each shoulder carries two curved sabres engraved one above the other, their lines darkened for contrast, with a pair of grooves marking the step down to the band.
One ring, one stone, made once.
