Feathered Knot Black Yemeni Agate Ring

The stone is a natural, untreated black Yemeni agate, cut as a large high oval cabochon and polished to a mirror finish that picks up the colours around it; under a blue light it reads navy. The body is even and uninterrupted, with no banding or visible marks.

The 925 sterling silver mount frames the dome with a row of raised beads, and each shoulder is hand-engraved with a pair of spread feathered wings meeting at a central geometric knot inside a pointed arch. The recesses are darkened so the feathers and the knot stand out against the polished metal.
