The stone is a large oval cabochon of natural, untreated Kabdi Yemeni agate, the liver-red variety: deep, dark and strongly saturated, with faint lighter clouds moving under the polish when the light shifts.
The silver is kept deliberately quiet. A flat-rimmed bezel, polished to a mirror, holds the stone; the shank is wide, rounded and smooth with no engraving at all, so the colour of the stone is the whole statement.
One ring, one stone, made once.
