The stone is a large, high-domed oval of grey-white Yemeni agate, natural and untreated, with a cool blue-grey cast and fine black dendrites that spread across the dome like ink branches, joined by tan streaks and soft grey clouds near the base. It is translucent, and the polish is glassy.
The bezel is bordered by a ribbed, fluted rim. Each shoulder is pierced right through in an openwork scroll of leaves and tendrils, with a teardrop window below, so the silver reads as lace rather than mass.
Cool stone, open silver, nothing heavy about it.
