A high-domed oval of smoky, blue-grey Yemeni agate. From its lower edge a spray of fine dark and silvery threads fans upward like a feather held to the light, the kind of natural scene the Yemeni market calls Musawwar.
Four double-wire claws hold the stone above a scalloped frame of granulated rosettes. On each shoulder a black baguette sits between polished leaves, fine granulation and roped wire, with small openings cut through toward the band.
Quiet in colour, rich in detail.
